The Company This business has a very credible reputation in the drinks market based largely on the premium brands it markets globally. Strong, sustained growth in recent years has led to the company expanding its operations to set up a new business here in Australia. Since recruitment for several key positions is currently underway - the need to build a strong sales and marketing team is also critical. Do you have Brand Management experience in the drinks market and yearn to contribute to the brand development of several iconic spirit and wine brands ? Of course you do ! The Role Reporting to the Marketing Director - you will be accountable for helping to drive the execution of both local and global marketing programs. Involvement in PR, advertising, promotional initiatives, trade marketing as well as industry shows and trade fairs will be required - and you will also be responsible for the development and approval of annual marketing plans for the brands in your portfolio. Since both the sales and marketing teams collaborate quite closely - you will also be involved with initiatives that drive sales volume, net sales value, market share and profit. The Person The successful candidate will currently be an experienced Brand Manager whose experience has been gained in an FMCG environment, preferably within the alcohol channel (wine, spirits or beer) and are looking to take the next step. You will be degree qualified with a marketing specialisation and will need to demonstrate your exposure to a brands life cycle from concept through to launch. We need someone with a strategic, analytical mindset who is also familiar with the way in which consumer insight is measured and interpreted.
